It is made of wood. It is stained a dark walnut color with lighter inlay interior.  The finish is in very good vintage used condition with the normal wear indicative of age, ie. scratches, mars and scuffs.  It is a nice table to display a large vase, collection of picture frames or bedroom display of your favorite collection. Many functional uses for this timeless work.
