Set of Stacked Chinese Burgundy Chests w/Brass Fittings BG273-13

Set of stacked Chinese burgundy chests with brass fittings. These chests are made of wood and have a dark burgundy Lacquer finish. Each chest has a metal lock or latch, made of brass, on the front. The chests are stacked on top of each other, designed to be used together for storage.  Antique or vintage, likely from the Qing Dynasty, which is known for this style of furniture. Chinese chests traditionally served as storage for clothing, linens, and other household items. The brass fittings add a decorative element and may also provide additional durability and security.
