Black Square Asian Chest w/Brass Fittings BG273-5

Vintage black chest with brass details.  It's difficult to determine the exact origin or age of the piece. The dark color and brass fittings suggest it might be Asian-inspired, but this is speculative .hought to be early 20th century.
